We are a coalition of organizations working at the intersection of care, policy, and community to challenge inequity and invest in the well being of children and families. Together, we align research, advocacy, and grassroots leadership to drive lasting change statewide.

BCDI-Ohio is dedicated to ensuring that children and their families are able to thrive throughout Ohio. Our goal is to empower children, teens, young adults, parents, and caregivers by influencing policy, connecting resources, and developing programs that address barriers to opportunity and reduce poverty. Through a comprehensive network of organizations and community stakeholders, we work to cultivate and implement effective systems that support positive outcomes for Ohio's children and families.
The CEO (Care Economy Organizing) Project is a statewide grassroots organizing project focused on building power with women, especially women of color who work in the care economy. Our project aims to call on the state to adequately invest in our children and their families' futures. We are united in our belief that every child has a right to access affordable, quality childcare and early education.
Established in 1981, Children’s Defense Fund-Ohio (CDF-OH) strives to eradicate child poverty, prevent abuse, and ensure access to healthcare and education. We focus on healthcare access, school discipline reform, juvenile justice, early childhood education, and leveraging networks for positive impact.
Policy Matters Ohio is a nonprofit policy research institute that creates a more vibrant, equitable, sustainable, and inclusive Ohio through research, strategic communications, coalition building, and policy advocacy.
Lasting change happens when we work in alignment.
Through shared values, collective strategy, and community rooted leadership, this coalition is advancing policies that honor the lives and futures of Ohio’s children.
